I have never stayed at a B&B nor in downtown St. Augustine (I usually stay with friends in the suburbs) but this was the perfect weekend getaway, thanks to Bonnie. She welcomed my wife and I with full hospitality and a beautiful room with a porch. After dinner we sat on the porch drinking wine watching the beautiful St. Augustine night. The morning we were greeted at our door with fresh coffee followed by breakfast with other guests who were also very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic with Bonnie’s home cooking. We did the usually tour of the cities landmarks. My wife was tired from the day so we returned and relaxed in our room and felt contempt with the relaxing surroundings. The next morning we checked out but while the stay was short it was the best getaway we ever had. I will recommend to all my friends. Living in a modern house in FL I rarely get the opportunity to stay in an old house and was like an old movie.
