This past weekend we stayed at the Alexander Homestead Bed and Breakfast in St. Augustine, Florida. This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and we loved it. The website is excellent and very detailed. I knew just what to expect. All of the guests were very friendly. The location is quiet but just 3 short blocks to walk to the historic area near St. George St. Bonnie, was the innkeeper. As soon as we arrived she said she had been waiting for us. She showed us our room, which was so bright and had a private porch(Queen Anne’s room). She also had beverages and cordials upstairs if we wanted any. The breakfast was all homemade. Delicious. We would return as well as recommend this place to our friends. Again the website gives full details about the house, what it has to offer and great pictures.
