Like other rooms in the Victorian home, the bedchamber was intended to be something of a testament to the domestic creativity of the 19th century woman. Sweet William captures the imagination of being a princess (or prince) in fairyland, as you repose under the magnificent blue and white French toile half canopy, in the elegant king panel bed. Adjoining your bedchamber and bath is a small sitting room occupied with an East lake desk and loveseat. Enjoy your coffee on the airy morning porch as you listen to birds sing and plan your day's activities. For complete privacy you have your own staircase and entrance.
Rate: $209 per night Friday through Sunday and all major holidays.*
